Daddy

Daddy (2017) is an Indian political crime drama film directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and produced by Arjun Rampal and Rutvij Patel. Starring Arjun Rampal and Aishwarya Rajesh, the film follows the true story of Arun Gawli, a gangster-turned-politician, feared by some and revered by others as a modern-day Robin Hood. It features cinematography by Jessica Lee Gagné and editing by Deepa Bhatia. The film, released on 8 September 2017, received praise for Arjun Rampal’s powerful performance and was noted for its complex narrative.

Kalki 2898 AD

Kalki 2898 AD (2024) is a Telugu epic mythological sci-fi film by Nag Ashwin, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, it is the first film in the Kalki Cinematic Universe, inspired by Hindu scriptures. With Djordje Stojiljkovic as cinematographer and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao as editor, the film was released on 27 June 2024 and praised for its stunning visuals and powerful performances.

Aafat- E-ishq

Aafat-e-Ishq (2021) is a Hindi-language black comedy film directed by Indrajit Nattoji and produced by Zee Studios. Starring Neha Sharma, Deepak Dobriyal, and Namit Das, it follows Lallo, a 30-year-old reclusive woman whose life takes a turn after inheriting her employer’s property, while the men she meets mysteriously die. With Shreya Gupta as cinematographer and Shan Mohammed as editor, the film was released on 29 October 2021 on Zee5. It received mixed reviews, with critics calling it a disappointing remake of the award-winning Hungarian original.
